Please feel free to share this with everyone at the office regarding closings and new contracts during this critical time.
ITZLAW is open! We are here to protect you, most importantly your health, and also your real estate transactions.
We have put into place our contingency plan which allows our staff to work remotely and still remain fully functional. All closings are expected to close as scheduled at this time.
We are working with all our partners, title and mortgage companies to close transactions electronically using the RON legislation (allowing people to use electronic notarization in lieu of in person at closings) as soon as it is enacted which is expected to be very quickly.
Until then, we are using Best Practices to ensure social distancing and limiting attendance at closings to only the necessary parties. As an essential financial business, myself and our affiliates are permitted to travel as necessary to close transactions.
Additionally, we are able to perform closings from start to finish in most counties including receiving full title commitments and getting mortgages approved through our affiliates.
