NYC Residents Requesting 6 month rentals saying they want to get to know the area

I received a call today from a Realtor.com referral who wanted to rent a furnished home in Smoke Rise for 6 months. She said she wanted to get to know the area before buying and wanted the 6-month rental with an option to buy. I've since heard from other realtors on Facebook that they are receiving the same request from NYC residents who are trying to ride out the Coronavirus in the NJ suburbs rather than stay in NY. Please be aware of this as you may also be getting calls for short term rentals.
